- Fill your Winter Months! In a room of 45 vendors, Brides on a Dime Expo Director Melanie Cameron asked how many vendors had even 8 weekends booked during the winter. Zero hands raised. How many of St. Anthony's Bridal's 12 winter weekends are booked? 10. How do we know? Brides on a Dime Expo Mailing/Phone List! 18 brides on our list are marrying on 1/1/13. Are you booked New Years? 94 brides on our list are marrying before 3/1/13. These brides are looking for deals, and you're looking to book December, January and February. Did we mention? 90 brides on our list are marrying in March!
- Elevate Yourself above the Competition! Brides on a Dime Expo is a fundraiser directly benefiting St. Anthony's Bridal, a 501(c)3 nonprofit helping brides afford a beautiful wedding. And, all of your bridal clients will be attracted to the mission of a bridal nonprofit because they are brides and they see that you're giving back within the industry.
- We Target the $10k Bride! We're not pulling in the $30,000 wedding reception clients, we're honest and forthright because we believe that brides on a budget of $10,000 or less truly want to be taken seriously and will respond with a closing contract because a vendor takes their budget seriously and treats them with dignity.
Melanie R. Cameron, President of St. Anthony's Bridal, presented a talk at the Women's Wedding Network October, 2011 Luncheon. The talk, "Brides on a Dime," tackled every vendor's "nightmare" the bride with a sub-zero budget asking for your services.
Summary of Talk Given to Women's Wedding Network:
$100 for photography. $1100 for food and beverage for 100 people. We all get the calls or emails, and as wedding professionals, most of us don't even waste our time returning them.
